Our Story
Pawzabilities was born out of love — a love for dogs, for family, and for the joy that comes from giving our furry companions the very best.
It all began in Maro’s kitchen, where she first baked wholesome liverbread treats for her beloved “grand pups” — Mr. Grumps the Bulldog and his Frenchie sisters, Lil’ Ela and Lady Lea. What started as a way to spoil them quickly turned into something more: a calling.
Maro’s passion for dogs stretches back many years, but it was through her late baby, Asti, that she discovered her true purpose. Asti taught her that caring for a dog goes far beyond belly rubs and playtime — it’s about nurturing their health, their happiness, and their hearts. Pawzabilities is Maro’s way of honoring that bond and keeping Asti’s spirit alive in every treat she bakes.
Today, Pawzabilities isn’t just about healthy, handmade snacks. It’s about creating a movement that celebrates dogs across South Africa — ensuring they not only feel loved at home, but that shelter dogs waiting for their forever families also share in that joy. That’s why a portion of every sale goes toward supporting animal shelters, because every paw deserves kindness, care, and a treat made with love.
